Merry Christmas!

This little Santa was pooped. The visions of sugar plums are dancing in his head. He is so excited to go to Oklahoma and meet everyone for Christmas. We have a lot of people to introduce to Miles. He's soooo excited.

Miles has developed quite a fondness for his new friend. Meet Captain Chorsey. The seahorse plays soothing music and glows. He loves it when he needs some tunes to chill to while he falls asleep. The funniest part is that my shrink got it for him.

Miles is getting bigger everyday. He smiling a lot. We have our two month checkup on Monday with his first shots. We are not looking forward to it.

Growing like a weed.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. It was just the three of us but it was great to have such a peaceful day together with just us. We have a lot to be thankful for this year. Miles is starting to interact with us more and more. I feel like his laugh is so close to developing. I cannot wait. He had professional pictures taken last week. Should be cute.

Katie comes to visit

Miles had his first non-family visitor, Katie. We had a wonderful time. It was great for mommy to have some girl time. Miles loves his Katie!

Rub a dub dub, Miles is in the tub!

Miles has been taking baths in his puj tub in the sink and he loves them. It's like a little jacuzzi tub for him, except for the time I put him in the tub mad (photo below).

He's here!!!!

Miles Kent Sexton arrived on October 6th at 7:54am. He weighs 4lb 4oz and was 18 inches long. He's been in the NICU since and is doing very well. As soon as he gains a little weight, he can come home (hopefully by Wednesday of this week). Mommy and Daddy have been visiting Miles in the nursery every three hours and he also getting some love from Grandma Terri and Aunt Ashley. His Nana and Papa will be here this weekend to meet him.

He is eating better everyday and other than the monitors, he is tube free. Please keep our little guy in your prayers that he continues to do well. We already are SOOOOOO in love with our little blessing.

Two Weeks from Today

It's official. If all goes according to plan, our baby will be delivered via c-section on October 6th. We went to the doctor today. As of now, he weighs 4lb 10oz. Everything checked out perfectly. Let the countdown begin.

Our Nursery

We had a muralist come in and paint on the nursery walls. It really turned out neat. James and I painted the nursery blue, just the two of us. I am proud to say we didn't even fight.:) James dad and my mother and sister have made recent trips to help us prepare for Baby Miles arrival. He'll be here before we know it.

I'm pregnant!

After three long years of trying, we have been blessed with a baby boy. He is scheduled to arrive October 26th, 2010. I am going to try to do my best to keep this blog updated so our loved ones and friends that are far away can keep tabs on our little monster. We are getting very excited for his arrival!!!!
