Big boy tub time.

Crawling all over

 Almost 9 months old.

Miles is growing like crazy and has mastered crawling. 

He loves to chase the dogs around and play fetch with Boomer and daddy.

Airplane rides, swimming pools, beachfront property....Miles is living the dream.

Miles is a huge hit with my neighborhood bookclub. This is Miles and Kathy just hanging out.

Miles rides a pony at only 7 months of age at our Kentucky Derby Party. What a stallion!!! When everyone was cheering during the race, he cried.

Papa's Visit

 Jim came and helped us do a little baby proofing since Miles is trying to crawl. 

 Papa had to get his time in when Nan was not around.

Half a year old.

Miles is growing like crazy. 16.2 lbs. He has moved to the 50th percentile for weight and 75th for height.

He has got rolling down and now we just need to work on crawling and sitting.

Miles had pictures taken and boy was he playing to the camera. I swear this kid knows he's cute. We cannot let it get to his head. I even had to sign a waiver to release photo rights in case they want to use him for advertising. Mr. Photogenic!

Tom Petty Does the Trick

miles has had a tough week. he's new teeth are giving him fevers and a case of the fussies. as i am typing, he is wimpering in his sleep in the swing. it makes my heart ache.

On another note, miles is a HUGE tom petty fan and he really likes to sing along to oldies in the car. he is about to sit up on his own. He is a very strong little guy.

I'm really a Chelsea fan.

March is in like a lion.

Nan came to visit me. 

Becky was the first to volunteer to babysit Miles while we went to the George & Reba concert. Miles had a wonderful time and yet again, nan cried when she left :(

Krista was playing with our new computer. We did win Shedd Aquarium tickets at a silent auction so Miles will be venturing downtown soon.

He's learning to eat.

Miles has been starting cereal and some baby food. He really enjoys carrots and peas. No go on the sweet potatoes. I think this is the beginning of a looooonng messy period.
